Total Eclipse anime original opening theme singer?

Man, I love that girl's voice.  The theme isn't my genre (prefer metal or classical - don't ask) but I love this tune.

Or is it just me?

@rlranftKumi Koda but Minami Kuribayashi is a goddess compared to her and she sings doubt the world in episode 20-24.

Aki Misato's snow maiden ain't bad either but personally i love the remix in the visual novel. I think i was turned off by the drastic difference in sound to Muv-Luvs usual approach with music but go to the top is alright. It brought us an amusing music video at the very least. lel http://www.jpopsuki.tv/video/Koda-Kumi---Go-to-the-top/96bd9aadb2962c38ce082fac8e170fb9

It's just her voice - not the talent involved - that I like.  She's got some "dirty fuzz" goin' on there that I find really appealing.

The other vocals are indeed good.

@rlranftYeah i can appreciate she has something different to offer for j-pop. I think i would appreciate her more if i gave her albums a listen.

You can actually get Kumi Koda's "Go To The Top" from iTunes US: https://geo.itunes.apple.com/us/album/go-to-the-top-single/id569156870?at=10l4Gc&app=itunes

If you have an iTunes Japan card, you can get the "Total Eclipse Song Collection", with all the OPs and EDs, including Minami Kuribayashi's 1st ED "signs" and 2nd OP "Doubt The World": https://geo.itunes.apple.com/jp/album/total-eclipse-song-collection/id604882394?at=10l4Gc&app=itunes (EDIT: actually, tracks 2 and 4 seem to be missing from iTunes. Thanks a lot, Avex. 💩)

Speaking of Minami, the real jackpot for her on iTunes Japan is the "10th Anniversary Best Album Stories" double album, nearly half of which is from Muv-Luv and Kiminozo, including "I Will" (Extra's ED), "Songs of Distant Earth" (Unlimited's ED), "マブラヴ" the main Muv-Luv theme, "Rumbling Hearts", "Next Season", and more. https://geo.itunes.apple.com/jp/album/10th-anniversary-best-album/id591760130?at=10l4Gc&app=itunes

Or get the discs from CdJapan or Amazon, for a Un-compresed , un-apple version.

Also, someone fact-check me on this, but is Minami's first ED, "signs ~sakutsuki hitoyo~", in 6/8 time? The phrases seem too long to be 3/4.

Anyways, the combination of unusual time-signature and military drums is perfect for a mecha anime like Total Eclipse.

Thanks guys - I'm an old-school anti-Apple dude myself - I looked into publishing software for the Apple ][+ back in '86 and found their closed-architecture philosophy to be draconian and petty, not to mention that $20k for a license at that time was ludicrous for a guy right out of high school.  I always wished that Woz had taken more interest in the business side than Jobs because those early machines especially were pretty ground-breaking thanks to his genius.

That's nice. I'm just here to tell you where you can get legal non-DRM'ed digital audio files for a lot less money than importing physical media. If that's politically incorrect to you, there's always a chance Google Play or Amazon MP3 will have it. Just saying some of this stuff is out there and pretty easily available. Have a nice day.

Yeah, I get that, thanks.  I usually prefer physical media in any case so that I can choose my compression ratios myself.
