What exactly does "Maniax " mean?

4 posts in this topic

Quite a few age titles have the suffix "Maniax" (Age Maniax, Akane Maniax, Haruko Maniax, the upcoming Melvani Maniax). Even after googling I have no clue what its meant to mean. Anyone know the answer?

It's just a name that doesn't mean anything more by itself, and it doesn't have some complicated weird Japanese double meaning like Muv-Luv does.

They use マニアックス(read: Maniakkusu = Maniacs) the same way it means in English, a rabid fan of something, such as Haruko, Akane, or Kimi ga Ita Kisetsu (which, is the only game Age had released at the time of Age Maniax if I'm not mistaken)

So basically "maniax" is just maniac spelt with an X?

Yeah, pretty much.... just the "cool kidz" way of spelling it more or less.
