  1. [Old] Muv-Luv Alternative Strike Frontier

@haloff1has volunteered to make and maintain a new thread (as this thread's original poster was banned for infractions a while ago). As a result, I've renamed and locked this thread. Future replies should go here:
  2. Hi!

I've deleted Vhk38a's comment. I've also banned them, because all of their posts are rude and uncivil.
  3. [PSA] There was an update

I've deleted the uncivil comment by Vhk38a. In the future, they should try to be polite on these forums. (I've also edited @haloff1's post to remove the quote, which was a full duplication of the infringing post—this is not considered a mark against them, andthey are not at fault in any way)

To "stick one's nose into" is more idiomatic in English, so that's a good one to bring up. I'll check that line.
  5. Muv-Luv Feedback

I'll make sure that line gets checked.

Yep, "double standard" should not behyphenated I think Meiya isemphasizing her closeness to Takeru here (she's "made herself at home"), so that's likely a deliberate choice Takahashi is fairly formal—but does occasionally use more informal speech, so this one will have to be checked against the original text Campus can be used for high schools, but is most commonly used for places of higher education (and occasionally for institutions). In my Canadian high school I never heard it used to refer to the school grounds, but I can look into the regionality of the term. "discontent" is actually different from "discontented"—to be "discontent" is to be "not pleased or satisfied", whereas to be "discontented" is to be "not happy with your situation, position, etc.;not contented". They're fairly close in both meaning and spelling, but the Merriam Webster definitions and example sentences are worth a glance: http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/discontent http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/discontented Thanks for sharing your thoughts! We'll be sure to make corrections. This would be nice, but only works if we have a finalized script ready for the beta (alas, we didn't this time). We'll see how our schedule is for Alternative, haha.

That apostrophe inconsistency should be fixed (nice catch), but the "wide" hyphens are actually typographically correct—they're known as em dashes, andhavea number of uses.

I thought you were native, but figured that you would have been working with people who were perhaps non-native (but who still rejected your corrections). Could have been clearer there myself. That's strange. Save slots seem to have an issue with dates, so it might be related to that. We'll give it a look, thanks!

@rlranft: Shame they didn't take your advice at that paper. I've met a lot of native English writers with a worse grasp of the language than you have @robotization: When I get back to my headphones I'll compare the clips. @both:Thanks for your sharp eyes on the script! We'll make sure those get fixed.

@rlranftNice catch on the beared/bore thing (though technically it should beborne, because it's preceded by "have"). We'll fix that. As you've noted, the arcade voice-over would need to be redone to fix the grammar and wordingissues. I can't promise anything on that front, but I'll still pass it on. Thanks for the detailed screenshots and explanations!

@MkilbrideWhile Waifu2x is definitely fun to play with, I'm afraid it's not productive to this feedback thread beyond what's already been expressed on the CG front. I'm afraid that there's very little to be done about it that hasn't already been noted and passed on to the devs, and we'll get back to you with news when we have it. You're free to continue experimenting with Waifu2x, but I'd appreciate if you continue it in a separate threadso we can keep this one focused on issues that haven't yet been properly documented. That helps us address and fix problems much quicker. Thanks.

@robotizationThank you for the super-detailed reports, and especially for those videos. They help immensely. The ellipsis error (2 instead of 3) is also fixed now, though it won't be pushed out until the next big script update to avoid breaking saves. Sharp eye!

Yep. To elaborate, the text style has been changed to match Alternative. That means it's center-aligned, appears all at once, and doesn't have a text box behind it. Another issue is that in age's modern iterations of their VN engine, they simply don't support scrolling text anymore. Glad that it doesn't seem to bother you, though

If it's jumping suddenly then that partisa bug. I'll take a look at it—thanks for the explanation.

Ah, the fast speech is intentional—Tsukiyomi is talking really fast during her rant, so it's actually not meant to progress at a comfortable reading speed. It's meant toemphasize how overwhelming the wall of text is. If there's something else going on there, though, I can take a look at it.
