    What @Scars Unseensaid. Also, if I understood Japanese, I wouldn't bother with the English translation in the first place as the English script takes lotsof liberties (I can easily tell that even with my limited understanding of the Japanese language and I'm sure there's much, much more), so getting hung up about how "Hakuryo" should be written is kind of pointless.

    No. My point is that a simple "o" is easier to read whereas using one of the correct versions has no practical use.So why even bother?

    Dropping vowels in romanized Japanese is a common practice (for example: Toukyou -> Tokyo) and honestly it doesn't matter which one is used. However it is undeniable that"o" is the easiest to read especially for people who aren't familiar with romanization, even if it is technically incorreect.

    I don't know if someone posted this already, but when the opening of MLE plays, the video is exactly 1 beat early. It might not be very noticable if you haven't seen the "original" but for me it was really jarring to watch. Here's teh YT upload forcomparison: EDIT: Also where did the steam coming out of the characters' mouths go? Why is this "polished" version missing some features the old version had? It really added a nice touch to certain scenes...

    The text display speed is way too slow in that segment and doesn't match what is said at all. It will also occasionally make jumps and display hugechunks of text at once. That's why this part seems buggy (as it is in fact bugged).

    The general public doesn't even know what a VNis, let alone Muv-Luv. So no, it doesn't matter what the general public thinks about the pricing of VNs. The average gamer probably wouldn't buy this game even if it was F2P or would just ask about the ero-content. Also the average steam user is in an age where people generally don't like reading but would rather shoot stuff. VNs will always only sell a limited amount of copies and there's nothing to be done about other than somehow expanding their audience. A lower price tag sadly won't achieve that.

    Just in case my point wasn't clear enough: Selling MLA for less than 35$on releasewould be disrespectful for > 90% of all KS backers and therefore won't happen, no matter what you think / people have said / studies have shown. 45$ for MLA is just a projected guess based on the prices of Muv-Luv with40$ being the most likely alternative (heh) and 50$ still in the realm of possibility. Both games will drop in price at some point and there will be sales just like for every other game, that's how the industry works. If you want to play on release -> pay full price. If you want a good deal, wait for a sale. That's how it works for any game - niche or not.

    Bullshit. Muv-Luv was 25$ on KS -> 35$ on steam. MLA was 35$ on KS and will most likely be 45$ on steam. It's not unlikely thatthere'll be a bundle for 70$. Substract 10% for the preorder sale and the triology will be at 63$. which is still 3$ more than the KS edition (60$). They won't make it cheaper than that or else KS backers will be pissed. Also, why would they make MLA, which is the longer part that also clearly has more work put into it cheaper than Muv-Luv?

    Since feedback is appreciated, I wouldn't mind bigger filesizes either and I'd love upscaled images if the engine can handle it.
  13. Without switching the locale to japanese, the game won't work no metter what so while you're technically right, it doesn't solve the problems with Windows 8+.
  14. @DavidYou may be right, but from a buisiness-perspective, your proposed change makes absolutely zero sense.If anything it would probably confuse lots of readers if they didn't add an explicit explanation to the script. But it's nice to know that people actually get taller by working out.
  15. @damnglitchIt worked for me on Windows 8 at least, but I've never tried installing it on Windows 10. Upgrading to Win 10 after successfully installing Muv-Luv on Win 8 doesn't seems to break the game though.
